Only 3 mins?! Awwwww.

YLSNE: Penguins mate once a year, and "it" only lasts about three minutes. (Jenn: Time to make instant noodles...)

Quite a bit has happened this week. I hear talk from friends about assignments, and besides the initial "What?! In just second week?!" reaction, either I've been lucky or blissfully unaware, since I don't have much to do at home aside from the growing pile of readings. Or perhaps I'm deluding myself. >.> (I hope not.) Let's hear it for delusion and procrastination -- the bane of my (and many a uni student's?) life.

Procrastination: I really should get the last two textbooks, but I'm still waiting for better deals on textbookexchange. A great resource, by the way. I was amused to hear friends talking about it when discussing where they got their textbooks -- so others know about this gem, eh. While on the topic, I cannot believe the Microbio prac manual sold out twice, from what the lecturer said. One would think all the students in the course would need the prac manual, since it's not available online, after all......ah well.

Delusion: On the other hand, went to San Churro's again today, bringing (dragging?) three of my friends along. Tried the white chocolate berry thingo shake, which was absolutely sinfully delicious. And also a baby-sized...can't remember what it's called. XD The long and crunchy but soft inside thingo dipped with liquid chocolate. Mmmm. I actually moaned out loud eating it, which amused the people at the table. Ah well, what can I say, I'm vocal about things I enjoy! And chocolate is one of them. Thanks to ChocSoc for letting me know of this place. And it's just at Broadway (Glebe Point Road) too! Pretty convenient, if horribly guilt-inducing. At least i'm not too deluded not to notice this.

Procrastination: Even the weather nowadays seems to be procrastinating, as if summer is making wardrobe changes and undecided about morphing into autumn. Look at where we are, reduced to talking about the weather. Honestly, though, everyone experiences the weather multiple times, so it -is- a common point for several people. Be it hot, wet, dry, or cool, climates never cease to amaze me. Even after a year in Sydney, I'm still not sure when the seasons turn. Coming from Singapore, land of the humid sunny all year 'round, even seasons themselves remain rather foreign to me. It is the general consensus, though, it seems, that Sydney has great weather, and a mild winter. Let's cross our fingers to hope climate changes don't end up proving this statement wrong.

Delusion: Having so many lectures in Bosch nowadays, I can wake up at 8am, leave the house at 8.25, and walk super-fast from Redfern to Bosch by 9am. Eh? Why have I been missing half of my 9am lectures, then?! At least Bosch has good wireless so I don't fall asleep during lectures..maybe I'll make a list of wireless hotspots around uni...-gets distracted-

Procrastination: Shall have some treasurer stuff to do in the weekend. Still have all those pesky (well, two) forms to submit. Was at the C&S office last week checking up The Bull stuff to arrange for screening posts every single day, and I saw two thick stacks of pre-event/post-event funding forms stacked up on the tables. And here I was thinking working at the C&S office was a cushy job. Seems I was wrong! No wonder the lady took so long to reply with acceptance of my pre-event forms. Now that the events are over, time to submit the receipts and post-event forms. So far being the treasurer has been alright. I actually kind of like signing cheques, ohoho. And it is fortunate that the C&S office is actually somewhat technologically advanced, so I can email my forms over! Hooray!

Since it's 2am, though, time to do that tomorrow. Eheh. XD

P.S. It's not good to procrastinate!! (Or be deluded.) And oh, no pictures on this post cos I'm still emoing over the breakdown of my good 2megapixel phone. :( Current is only 1.3megapixel...sigh.
