Mardi Gras - Words in the Sky

YLSNE: I see Mac commercials on TV, and they're already bashing Vista. Makes me wonder...how come I don't see Windows commercials? O.o

First off...this took really long, partly because I made a phantom post. That happens when you write a post and forget to actually post it cos you wrote it in notepad or an equivalent, or you clicked on save to draft and thought you'd published. But but yes, I'm finally updating! I'll blog surf too. XD Thus..today is the 20th, but I backdate it to the 15th or something.

jill: Because it isn't funny, really..XD
dongni: -hugs- I'm alright, really, just had to rant then. Hell, I slept at 11 last night and woke at 6.30 today, and it's definitely not enough. -grumbles- Could have been due to other factors, though..
jo: haha, yeah, that was more or less what I was looking for. XD Now...will work on your topic..some time in the near future..XD

But yeah. I don't like to be talked to at home when I'm getting ready to go out in the morning..I'm pretty much reduced to unhappy grunts. I don't care, morning doesn't exist, and by extension I don't exist in the morning either. XD

Hurt my neck sleeping in some inconceivable position on Sunday -- still hurts now. Head was stuck in one position all of yesterday cos it hurt too much to move it to the right. :( Thankfully, it's much better now. Fully recovered, in fact. Took less than a week, woot. It did make me appreciate how great an importance the neck has when it comes to any simple body movement. E.g...when I woke up on Sunday, I spent half an hour stuck on the bed because I felt like groaning really loudly (it hurt bad..) every time I tried to lift my head and get up.

At the moment, I'm of the opinion that internet at USyd is really sucky. I mean...2meg free cache per day?? That's it? Rubbish. And I got wireless working..but inadvertently dipped it down to MINUS ONE CENT. (technician at the Pharmacy access centre, you're good-looking but I still blame you for this! You changed the option...then it happened. T-T) So I had to pay ten bucks to even connect to it again. -_- Hell. I can't even access all the sites I should be able to, at that. Must be some dingblasted firewall.

My life isn't very exciting...the only real constant is that I have the strangest, oddest thoughts in the most mundane of places. Like on the bus. Or walking alone from one LT to another..I finally understand why Huiming said last year it's kind of hard to get to know people in uni. There's this big isolation bubble I seem to be in.

I suppose I'm still waiting for my Aishiteruze baby -- I pick my bro up more than half the week, (Tues Weds Thurs) so I pretty much have to rush home to do that.

Other than that, I could review stuff that happened one/two weeks ago. XD Last last week I went for an outing organised by the Singapore Soc...pretty much a walk around the city one. Afterwards, we stood around for Mardi Gras. My feet were absolutely hurting by the time I went home (the party was just starting at the parade -- I left at eight or nine.) but the experience was quite interesting. I managed to get front row standing position (we were there that early. XD) so even with the hordes of people, it was quite near to the actual parade. Too dark to take many pictures, though.

Plus the guy beside me insisted on waving a rainbow flag around...which really made it hard for me to get photos unobscured by said moving flag. -_- Pfft.

I seem to be really susceptible to earworms nowadays. Day before yesterday, neesan's chang1jing1ge2 (pagoda of hidden scriptures) was stuck in my head. I'd really love the idea of someone writing a hundred love songs for me. XD Yesterday, Cure's Love Song was stuck in my head (I think someone'd sent me this song a while ago..). Which, of course, has really mushy lyrics but doesn't really sound like a love song. I wouldn't mind if someone sang me that song, either. :P Today it's Volbeat's Garden song...can't remember the exact title, but I woke up and the first line just started autoplaying in my head. And I'd only listened to it twice - it's a bit strange, the start sounds a lot like Lil' Drummer Boy.

Went for SUAnime screening yesterday, and it was pretty fun. Like watching in a cinema! I loved the sound, it was so cinematic. Death Note ep 1 was shown on the big screen, along with the first episode some zombie thingy that was quite, uh, strange. XD I'm listening to Miyano Mamoru's (shown at right) GUILTY BEAUTY LOVE (title makes no sense) at the moment..which reminds me that he was the Seiyuu (voice actor) for both Tamaki (Ouran High School Host Club) and Raito (Death Note). Quite interesting listening to "Tamaki" speak for Raito, yesterday. Neesan will know I have a semi-crush on this particular seiyuu, because he's actually young and quite good-looking. I'm sorry, I'm presumptuous, but I always thought seiyuus would look very normal and nothing like their anime counterparts. (Case in point - the uncles playing the Saiyuki bishounen.) But while Miyano-san isn't a bishounen, he IS pretty hot. For me, (I saw a grand total of one picture! XD) at least. XD Though it's really funny how he says "rarvu"...it seems Japanese have a bit of a problem pronouncing "love". :) "Ai" is much easier..

Aishite mo ii kai?

Gonna go for a Jazz Funk lesson today. Not sure how it'll turn out, since I'm really quite...lousy...at dancing. Still, I love to watch people do it, so maybe that'll be fun. :)

Ahh, last picture. Last weekend..SUAnime picnic/city tour. It was fun! And we had takoyaki! And the guy making the takoyaki was being farny with us drooling onlookers, haha. This picture was taken at the picnic..someone chanced to look up, and there was this airplane making letters in the sky!! He paused after this, then continued and made an m. (BAM?) But I didn't take the full word cos the B'd drifted to behind a tree.

Ehhh wouldn't it be romantic if you had a pilot boyfriend and he proposed up there or something? Hohoho. -chortles- Just something interesting, is all. Don't see words in the sky often. XD
